Secrets to Staying Motivated...Even During the Holidays


Why is it that when the HOLIDAYS are upon us (myself included) we get off track and pretty much give up on our health and fitness GOALS? Is it willpower? Motivation? Not having enough time?


Or is it simply our definition of SUCCESS?

💥Yep! That's the one.


We often view success in such a tightly defined way that we simply can’t stay the course because it’s too rigid. Over the years, I’ve come to see success more as being in the process. Taking moments to CELEBRATE the ACTUAL WORK. Celebrate what it takes to get us where we want to go.


💡What if we define success by completing those daily tasks?

🎉Let's celebrate the SMALL VICTORIES along the way...because they add up!


I invite you to take a look at your definition of success and see if you can make it more about being in the process by remembering to:

✔️Be consistent with your daily ritual. Have a morning self-care routine or anything that helps to set you up to win the day.

✔️Move more. Get more steps in, but don't get hung up on a specific number.

✔️Eat for your goals.

✔️Connect with what inspires you.

✔️Step back and appreciate all your hard work.

✔️Acknowledge each small shift you make and congratulate yourself on all of the steps forward you are taking.


If you keep these basics covered, you may surprise yourself and find even BETTER results than you imagined. 😉


Just remember, enjoy all that the holidays have to offer...family, friends, and (of course) the food, knowing you didn't ruin your personal goals because...you’re still on track. It's our daily work that gets us to our ultimate outcome!
