Longevity Squat PLUS

Tight…stiff…sore hips? Oh…I hear you;) Motion within and around our hips is absolutely KEY in order for us to move and feel better every day.

But we’re NOT going to accomplish this by stretching and cranking on our hips with reckless abandon. That just doesn’t work.

First and foremost, we need “SPACE” to move into and out of in order to move well.

I’m gonna spare you all the nerdy biomechanics and just reiterate this is MUST.

What I have for you today is a “progression” from a previous email to accomplish just that. So make sure you practice this FIRST…for as long as necessary before moving on to today’s move.

Here’s what you’re gonna need:

🫁Breathing throughout sequence:-SILENT NASAL INHALE: You SHOULDN'T HEAR yourself!

Check out my video below. 🔊 Sound ON!

Here’s what you’re gonna do:

-Stand 1 foot length away from the wall-Weight-bear through your contact points:

✔️Foot Contacts: 1) Big Toe Base 2) Inner Heel

✔️Boney Back Points against the wall (Right above your pelvis. DON’T TUCK to get it!)

✔️Space between your shoulder blades (WITHOUT shrugging your shoulders to get there!)-Slide down a quarter of the way, weight bearing on your contact points (3-4/10 pressure)

-Elbows bent much lower than the shoulders. Basically parallel with your thighs.

-Hold a manageable weight (KB/DB) chest height

-Keep your gaze straight ahead

-Hold this position and breathe: 3-5 sets x 5 breaths, 1-2x DAILY

Notice how you move and feel afterward. Any difference at all?

Practice DAILY as part of your EVERYDAY routine and enjoy feeling better afterward!
